My Roots & Passion

I was raised in a bilingual home surrounded by the language, culture, food, and traditions of Italy. With my parents being native to the Campania and Abruzzo regions of Italy, my childhood summers were spent immersed in Italian life. I fell in love with the culture early on, developing a deep nostalgia that continuously drew me back throughout my life.

When I met my husband—who is also of full Italian descent, with parents hailing from the Sicilian towns of Melilli and Priolo—that shared passion only grew. Together, we expanded our journeys beyond our families' hometowns to explore new regions, coastal towns, and hidden countryside gems. Today, our children carry on that 100% Italian heritage. They have already traveled to Italy with us several times and they too now are experiencing the beauty, regional traditions, mouthwatering food, and slow pace of la dolce vita.

My Background & Teaching Journey

My path to teaching began at Central Connecticut State University, where I earned my degree and Connecticut teaching certification in K–12 Italian. Teaching has always been about making a real impact—fostering curiosity, building confidence, and inspiring students to explore the world beyond the classroom. Over the years, some of my proudest moments have been watching former students go on to travel, study abroad, and fall in love with Italy themselves.

While my career path took a few turns into the business world, my heart always remained in education, connection, and Italian culture.

This past summer, after an extraordinary family journey traveling through Switzerland, Lugano, Lake Como, Verona, Lake Garda, Tuscany, and the sun-soaked beaches of Tropea—and taking in the unforgettable sound of Andrea Bocelli under the stars in Lajatico—my passion was fully reignited.

I created Tutti in Italia to bring together my two greatest strengths: certified, engaging language instruction and firsthand, bespoke travel consulting for families.

Whether I’m helping young students discover the joy of speaking Italian, guiding adult learners who are eager to master a new skill, or working with Italian-Americans looking to reconnect with their ancestral roots, I tailor my teaching to your unique personal goals and meet you where you are at.
